A slow week at the gym this week. Sometimes life gets in the way. I was only able to get in two sessions one being Monday and one yesterday. I suffer migraines and this week wasn’t a good one. Today’s migraine for example will prevent me from working out as well. I had plans to participate in a charity soccer match this morning and that won’t happen. So in the meantime here’s a recipe for another shake.
8oz orange juice
1 whole banana
A few frozen pineapples
1 tbsp ricotta cheese (or Greek vanilla yogurt)
1 tsp peanut butter (or not)
1-2 scoops of vanilla whey protein
While blending add juice until the consistency is to your liking
PS : that is not a typo.. yes ricotta cheese.. trust me.
